I have just learned on Oct 14, 2013 that the January 1909 Harris County Death records from April 1903-1909 were not included in the statewide death index but were found and digitized and an index of names and info exists in the Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research (but my inquiry to the library did not locate any combination of names that match her for 1909 either in this missing deaths of Harris county 1903-1909 either and they have suggested contacting Ft Bend County (adjacent to Harris County) for any county records for 1909 that may not be in the statewide index). </p><p>UPDATE!! AUGUST 29, 2016!!! We found two Houston Post newspaper announcements which show she was buried in Hollywood Cemetery. So am attaching it to this memorial and will place this memorial now in the proper cemetery! Thank goodness for the continuous digitizing of old newspapers! </p><p>Virena's father and some of her children are buried in Blanco Cemetery and that is where she resided for many many years (fromca 1882 until death in 1909).</p><p>Her mother and husband are buried in Snake Creek Cemetery in Ft Bend County, Texas. But after her husband died, she moved her family (ca 1882)to Blanco.
