Erlernt die Apothekerkunst beim Apotheker Friedrich Wiggers in Lübz in Mecklenburg, Attest v. 02.Okt.1786. bis 24. Juni 1792 in Rostock, Gehilfe des Apothekers Joh. Bernhard Guistrop, dann Provisor der Blauen Apotheke in Riga, die er im Juni 1797 kaufte. Er besass damals ein Vermögen v. 300 Rtlr. und wurde am 20.Juni.1797 Bürger. Mitbegründer der Pharm.
