William Tucker s/o Drury Tucker entered service 10/1777. Was ensign in Capt. John Overton's Co., Col. Charles Lewis 14th VA Regiment. Promoted to Lt., later served in VA 10th regiment. Resigned 3/1779 (pension file S-38447). Pension certificate 17592, dated 5/1/1820 for $20/month.

Military warrant in 1788 granted land in Casey county.

William sold his 1/11th share of father's estate to his brother, Daniel.

William's will filed in Will Book 2, pg. 365 Casey County, KY, naming son, Dandridge, Adam, sons, along with son James L. Settlement approved 6/1829 signed by Dandridge, Matthew & James L.Tucker.
