Notes for this person
Two years before in 31 March 1459 his younger brother Leupold VI. (died1459) the one with the wonderful beard, died [9]. As the successor to Hans' I, Leupold VI was in Council since 1450 with short interruption to the smaller Council, in which he always dressed as an elderly gentleman. In 1419 he was married Agnes (died 1458), the youngest daughter of his many children, the wealthy, Peter III Haller. Although she herself gave birth to a dozen children, including three sons, her male offspring had no children. From his father he inherited the manor at Behringersdorf, who later passed to Francis I Schürstab. Leupold VII (1439-1474) was the last of this line. Shortly before his death, Leupold VII sold the big Schürstabhaus north of St. Sebald to his cousin Erasmus II!
