1650 wurden Amtmann von der Horst und Richter Heidenreich Schlüter vomschwedischen Grafen von Wasaburg ernannt. Diese hatten Gerichts- undVerwaltungsbefugnisse.
Johann Eberhard von der Horst konnte seinem Vater Erdwin als Amtmannfolgen
Erbtochter Anna Sophia Wilhelmina von Lüninck heiratete 1707 den GeneralF erdinand Anton von der Horst (1669-1739), der neuer Eigentümer von HausCappeln wurde. Sein Erbe, Moritz Carl Theodor von der Horst, ging 1755mit dem Rittergut in Konkurs. Das Anwesen geriet danach durch Kauf an den Prediger Buddaeus aus Spenge.
Johann Eberhard von der Horst konnte seinem Vater Erdwin als Amtmann folgen. Ihm folgten Johann Heinrich Rupertshoff von 1715-1724 und Johann Heinrich Hinüber von 1724-1775
