Sally is in the Will of John Lewis, Jr. dated July 16, 1780;Albermarle Co., VA. "I bequeathe to Sally Ming all property whichcame by first wife, her mother..." Probated feb. 6, 1804. Sally hadmarried James Ming(Meng) by this time. Elizabeth is the mother ofSally according to Wood's "History of Albermarle Co.". My researchimpells me to believe that it was a sister of Elizabeths, possiblyJudith. Either way there is ample proof that Sally is thegrandaughter of Samuel and Judith Clough Shelton. It is in his will assuch.
