Milo never married. He lived next to his sister Rose & his parents allhis life. He took care of Rose in their later years. Milo was muchloved by the extended family. He passed away alone in a nursing homeand we think it was very, very sad indeed. Milo was born November 30, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Joseph andAnnie Hajek Lunacek. Milo served in the U.S. Army during World WarII. He was a member of VFW Post 788. He retired from IowaManufacturing as a crane operator. Milo is survived by two sisters Irene Ackerman of Las Vegas and RoseMefford of Cedar Rapids; a sister in law Helen Lunacek of Camanche,Iowa; three nieces and two nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Clarence, andsisters Olga Huseby and Velma Lunacek.
