Notes for this person
They most probably had economic reasons to emigrate. Schwabenheim is
another small village a few miles away from Partenheim. When French
Troops during the Napoleon wars attacked Mainz they conquered Schwabenheim
in 1795 and set the village three times at fire and most of the records
had been burned. Werner Nebrich could not find any registration of the
birth of Konrad Nebrich in the registrations records of Partenheim or
Sulzheim (the village his wife was from Werner assumes he was born in Dec.
1795 or Jan 1796 at Schwabenheim.
