Notes for this person
It appars that the original assumption that John M. Hill was the so ofJohn Hill and Marthena Hix needs to be reviewed based on theinformation in his death certificate. It states that hs father wasJames H. Hill, mother Chitty Berney. Until this has been examined indetail, it will be regarded as the more reliable information. The 1920 census states that his parents were born in Tennessee, not inMissouri. This will require further research.
