Johann Esau ist nach Russland ausgewandert. Das war dann schon die dritte Auswanderungsgeneration, die wieder in den Oblast Saratov ausgewandert ist.
Fresenheim am Trakt (russ. Novo-Usensk) wurde als Dorf im Jahre 1860 gegründet mit 20 Haushalten. Ca. 100km südlich von der heutigen Stadt Engels entfernt. Siehe nach unter: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mennonitenansiedlung_Am_Trakt
Nach Beginn des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde die deutsche Bevölkerung der Siedlungen Am Trakt entsprechend dem Erlass des Obersten Sowjets vom 28. August 1941 innerhalb weniger Wochen mit der Bahn nach Osten vorwiegend Kasachstan deportiert.
Nach dem Krieg wurde diese Region teils als Truppenübungsplatz benutzt. Einige Dörfer im Südosten existieren bis heute unter russischen Namen.
