Severinus of Cartagena b. circa 500 " Some historians claim that his father Severian was duke or governor of Carthage, but St. Isidore simply states that he was a citizen of that city." Severinus of Cartagena was born circa 500. He married Theodora, daughter of Theudericus Magnus, rex Italiae and Theodora (?), before 530. He emigrated from Carthage, leaving 554; The family went to Seville.
