Olav v. Landsverk, Norwegen: "One site (Hans Gerlach: Die Ahnen des Viktor v. Poser und Groß Nädlitz, Freiburg 1954/56) has identified Lorenz Kraffter with Lorenz v. Crafford, son of James Lindsay of Crafford/Crawford, who immigrated to Augsburg from Scotland". Danach hatte er mit Honesta Merz die Kinder Marina und Sabine; bei Zimmermann "Augsburger Zeichen und Wappen": Krafter/Kraffter/Kraffter v. Krafftfort; Wappen: weißer Balken, 3 schwarze Krähen im gelben Feld; bei Lindsay aber weiß und blau geschachtelter Balken im roten Feld; Neuer Siebmacher "Ausgestorb. bayer. Adel" Bd. II: Augsburger Geschlecht... wollten v. Jacob Landesi Grafen v. Crafort und Euphemia, Tochter des Königs Robert II. in Schottland abstammen.
