PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. - Funeral services for Ross Beardsley Borneman, 38, Paradise Valley, Ariz., formerly of Elkhart, Ind., were Thursday at St. Barnabas at the Desert Episcopal Church, Paradise Valley. The Rev. Ralph Ross Huttson officiated. The body was to be cremated. Mr. Borneman died Sunday (Feb. 1, 1987) at the Scottsdale Memorial Hospital North, in Scottsdale, Ariz. He had been suffering from congenital heart problems. He was born Aug. 18, 1948, in Indianapolis. He married Valerie McMahon. She survives with his parents, H . Ross and Barbara Borneman, Paradise Valley, Ariz.; a daughter, Ashley; and a son, Brian, both at home: a brother, Peter, Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.; and a sister, Pam Burke, San Diego. Mr. Borneman grew up in Elkhart and moved to Arizona in 1967. He was an investment banker with Rauscher Pierce Refsnes Inc., in Phoenix. He attended Culver Military Academy in Indiana and was a1973 graduate of the University of Arizona where he was a member of the Phi, Delta, Theta Fraternity. He as treasurer of the Scottsdale Girls Club and was a member of the Board of the San Pablo School for Boys. Memorials may be made to the Upward Foundation School for multi-handicapped children, 636 North Seventh St., Phoenix, Ariz., 85014.
