PROPES, Hobert Eugene

MORELAND - Holbert Eugene Propes, 73, of Hustonville, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 15, 1924, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Chester J. and Ollie Marie Johnson Propes. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Mae Barger Propes; six sons, Howard E. Propes and Robert W. Propes, both of Hustonville, Donald D. Propes Sr. of Minnesota, Norman W. Propes of Pendleton, Ind., RogerD. Propes of Indiana, and Edgar J. Propes of Middleburg; four daughters, Brenda S. Luster and Linda L. Payton, both of Hustonville, Wanda E. Johnson of Liberty and Alma Schmeirs of Middleburg; two half sisters, Elizabeth Arnold of Hustonville and Vivian C. Arnold of Indiana; a half brother, Eddie Arnold of Mount Olive; two step brothers, Kenneth Pemberton of Junction City and Harold Pemberton ofLiberty; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Joyce Propes and Angela Propes.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bearl King. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Casey County. Pallbearers will be Junior Webb, Junior Brooks, Chad Graham, Gary Propes and Jerry Swango.

MORELAND — Howard Eugene Propes, 64 of Liberty died Saturday.

Born June 1, 1946, he was the son of Mae Propes and the late Hobert Propes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Berniece Carter Propes; and daughter, Patricia.

Survivors include a son, Gary Propes; two daughters, Judy Swango and Bonita Mondie; four brothers, Donald, Darrell Norman and Edgar Propes; four sisters, Brenda Luster, Elaine Johnson, Linda Payton and Alma Schmiers; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hwy. 78 Full Gospel Church. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Born May 6, 1953, he was the son of Ruby Mae Propes of Liberty and the late Hobert Propes. Other survivors include a son and daughter, Anthony and Tonya Terry of Lexington; six brothers, Eugene, Donald, Norman and Edgar Propes, all of Liberty, Darrell Propes of Waynesburg, and L.C. Title Die Familien Schmiers und ihre Verwandten
Description

um 2009 veröffentlichte ich die erste Version meines Vorfahrenbaumes in GEDBAS. Heute 2014 kann man diese als überholt bezeichen und ersetzen durch die neue Version von 2014.

Diese Datenbank enthällt möglichst alle Vorkommen von Schmiers weltweit in zwei großen Familiensträngen, die beide aus Westfalen stammen. Zusätzlich, wenn alles klappte, auch einige Streufunde, die noch nicht zugeordnet werden konnten. Mein Zweig stammt aus dem Kreis Steinfurt, ist in Westfalen ausgestorben und lebt als "sächsischer Zweig" weiter. Der andere große Strang stammt aus der Umgebung Cappenberg und hat zahlreiche Nachkommen in USA und Deutschland. In den vergangenen Jahren ist meine Forschung deutlich vorangeschritten.

Beim Export hakte ich an "lebende Personen ausschließen". Hoffentlich vergaß ich bei keiner Person mit unbekanntem Todesdatum das Häkchen bei 'verstorben' zu setzen...

Ich würde mich über Fragen zu diesen Familienbäumen freuen.
