Cremation will take place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home. A memorial ser-vice is 1 p.m. Monday at Croxford Funeral Home. Terri was born Feb. 15, 1966, in Memphis, Tenn. to Richard and Mary Schmiers. She was raised and educated in Kentucky. She attended college in Kentucky and earned degrees in nursing, psychology, business and archeology. She worked as a registered nurse for 24 years, until she became disabled. Terri moved to Montana and made it her home 10 years ago. She was devoted to God, and loved books and movies. Terri is survived by her kids, Anjessa, Amber, Joshua, Jackson and Amanda; her brother, Chuck "Daddy" (Alma) Schmiers; a niece, Adriel Goodin; and a nephew, Charles Bentley. Also surviving is her extended family, Debbie Rice, Eric Scheele, Dar-win Rice, Eli Jarvis, Ellie Jones, Elijah Jones, Alice and Rob Thornton, Roy Soley and William Blue. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Schmiers; a brother, Tom Schmiers; and her nieces, Helen May Schmiers and Stacy Schmiers. | Description | um 2009 veröffentlichte ich die erste Version meines Vorfahrenbaumes in GEDBAS. Heute 2014 kann man diese als überholt bezeichen und ersetzen durch die neue Version von 2014. Diese Datenbank enthällt möglichst alle Vorkommen von Schmiers weltweit in zwei großen Familiensträngen, die beide aus Westfalen stammen. Zusätzlich, wenn alles klappte, auch einige Streufunde, die noch nicht zugeordnet werden konnten. Mein Zweig stammt aus dem Kreis Steinfurt, ist in Westfalen ausgestorben und lebt als "sächsischer Zweig" weiter. Der andere große Strang stammt aus der Umgebung Cappenberg und hat zahlreiche Nachkommen in USA und Deutschland. In den vergangenen Jahren ist meine Forschung deutlich vorangeschritten. Beim Export hakte ich an "lebende Personen ausschließen". Hoffentlich vergaß ich bei keiner Person mit unbekanntem Todesdatum das Häkchen bei 'verstorben' zu setzen... Ich würde mich über Fragen zu diesen Familienbäumen freuen. |
