Cause of death was unavailable. Mrs. Bennett was a certified medication aide at Valley Vista Good Samaritan Center in Wamego 23 years and recently was honored for outstanding service at the center. She was born Aug. 30, 1943, in Belvue, the daughter of Harry W and Margene Armburst Pageler. She graduated from Wamego High School. She was married to Wayne M. Bennett Jan. 20 , 1962, in Wamego. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter Pamela S. Gardner, Wamego; four sons, Wayne M Bennett, Wamego, Steven T. Bennett, Timothy D. Bennett and James D Bennett all of Belvue; her mother Margene Pageler, Wamego ; a brother, Dean Pageler, Manhattan,; three sisters, Carol J. Coon, Wamego, Sue Brunkow, Belvue, and Brenda McNorton, Topeka; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at RJ Evans Mortuary in Wamego. Burial will be in Wamego City Cemetery, Nrs, bennett will lie in state from noon to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
