CARL O. PAGELER

Wamego - Carl O Pageler , 77, Wamego, died Sunday, Feb 21, 1988, at a Wamego nursing home where he had been the past four months. He had been in failing health the past year.

Mr. Pageler worked 45 years for Balderson's Inc. At Wamego and was a plant superintendent before he retired.

He was born June 13, 1910, east of Wamego, the son of John Henry and Emma Martens Pageler. Mrs. Pageler was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Wamego and a forger member of Wamego Volunteer Fire Department and the Wamego City Planning Commission. He was a member many years and former president of the Wamego Telephone Board of Directors.

He married to Lola Soelter Sept 4, 1939, at Leavenworth. She survives.

Other survivor's include a daughter Mrs. Linda Hayes, Los Altos, CA; a son Donald Pageler, Westminster, CA; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Olson, Mrs. Ellen Dekat and Mrs. Clara Wille all of Wamego; a brother Emil Pageler, Wamego and a grandson.

Services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego. Burial will be in Wamego City Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet from 7:30 until 8 :30 pm today at the Pageler home in Wamego. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Wamego.
