Hans Bartels erscheint erstmalig in der Vermögens-, Taxt- und Landbeschreibung von 1619 mit 42/15/15 Morgen Land.und ist dort der einzige Bartels in Oldendorf /^ALBart/. 1639 bewirtschaftet er Hof 13, 1642 Hof 16, den vorher Valentin Bartels hatte. /^OldHöf/S.21/ Im Scheffelschatz 1647/50 als Schäfer von 197 alten Schafen und 161 Lämmern aufgeführt, in der Kopfsteuerbeschreibung von 1664 als Leibzüchter Hans Bartels sen. /ALBart/
