<p>Ida, wife of Joseph G. Bixby, died at 6:35 o'clock Monday morning after an illness of three months, aged 26 years. Her illness began with an attack of the grip but developed into a very serious lung trouble, which baffled all medical skill.</p>
<p></p>
<p>Her husband and an infant daughter, together with her mother, two sisters and three brothers survive here. They are Mrs. J.A. Davidson of Harristown, Miss Clara Eyman, Lewis, Charles and Harry Eyman. The deceased was married to Mr. Bixby Sept. 1, 1891.

<p>The greater portion of her life was passed in Decatur. She grew to womanhood here and her gentle, loving nature attracted to her a wide circle of friends. She was beloved by all who knew her and itis hard for her friends to realize that she has passed in the unknown land. Her death was not wholly unexpected. For several weeks past, her life has hung in the balance but her family and friends hoped that she might yet be spared.

<p>The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Eyman residence.</p>
