ALFRED LESSMANN Obituary Lessmann Nov 21, 1937 - March 6, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Alfred HenryLessmann, Oklahoma City resident, born Nov. 21, 1937, in Independence,KS, departed this life March 6, 2014, in Oklahoma City at age 76.Alfred was the son of John and Emma (Engelken) Lessmann. He served inthe United States Army 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment, SignalPlatoon, of the 101st Airborne Division, "Rakkasans." Alfred marriedGeorgia Beth Lane Nov. 27, 1976. Alfred worked as a truck driver formany years. His parents, and wife, preceded Alfred in death. Survivorsinclude five sons: Larry Lessmann, of Norman, OK; David Lessmann, ofOklahoma City; Dan Lessmann, of Oklahoma City; Dennis Lane, ofForsythe, MO; and Mike Lane, of Ripley, OK; two daughters: LoriLessmann, of Oklahoma City; and Kim Sands, of Westminster, CO; onebrother, Walter Lessmann, of Pleasant Hill, CA; two sisters: MaryDunn, of Pleasant Hill, CA; and Esther Karner, of Midwest City, OK;four grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at the Parks Brothers Funeral HomeChapel in Chandler, OK with Pastor Bruce Newby officiating.
