Lawrence Strusz, 68, Red Wing Lawrence C. Strusz, 518 Buchanan St., Red Wing, 68, died at his homeearly this morning. Born Aug. 5, 1900, to George and KatherineStrusz, he attended schools in Featherstone Township and the parochialschool at Hay Creek. He owned and operated a trucking service for 38years, retiring in 1966. His marriage to Lucille Bremer took placeNov. 10, 1928, in Red Wing, and they have always lived in this area.Mr. Strusz was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and served onthe church council for six years. Surviving are his wife, Lucille; one daughter, Mrs. Luverne (Darlene)Lee of Red Wing; two sons, Arnold L. and Leonard J. Strusz, both ofRed Wing; seven grandchildren; five brothers, John H.G. Strusz andOtto Strusz of Red Wing, George and Walter of Goodhue and Maynard ofZumbrota; one sister, Mrs. John (Leona) Gerken of Lake City numerousnieces and nephews. Funeral services will be in Oakwood Cemetery.Friends may call at Bodelson Funeral Home Sunday from 3-9 p.m. and atthe church from 11:30 a.m. to the time of the services Monday.
