Otto Shydecker (he changed the spelling in America) is my grandfather. I have details of his brothers and sisters in Duren and a photograph of them from 1886. He came to America in 1891 with his brother Alfred. Otto married Martha Kester, American born. Her parents were from Prussia and Saxony.
