Der damalige Hofbeständer von Hof Dörstheck Anton Kaffai (*1849 +1929)und seine Frau Maria-Magdalena (*1854 +1923) hatten keinen männlichenNachkommen, daher übernahm die Tochter Anna Maria den Hof und heiratete 1895 Georg Schneider aus Lykershausen. Hiermit änderte sich der Familienname des Hofbeständers von Kaffai zu Schneider. Auch diese hattenkeinen männlichen Nachkommen. Die Tochter Christine (*1896 +1982) übernahm den Hof Dörstheck, und heiratete im Jahre 1919 Philipp Basset (*1893 +1973), der aus Geisig stammte. Somit änderte sich der Name des Hofbesitzers wiederum von Schneider zu Basset.
