Im Kirchenbuch des Kirchspiels Schönberg-Möllingen zu Kölbingen aus dem Jahre 1878 ist ein Nachtrag aus dem Jahre 1924 gefertigt. Aus diesem geht hervor, dass Karl Olberts eine Ida Beyer aus Langenhahn geheiratet hat.
Die Gebrüder Julius, Theodor, Josef und Karl Olberts hatten in Hintermühlen eine Mühlenbetriebs GmbH. Müllermeister war Theodor Olberts. Sein Bruder Julius führte die Bücher und die Brüder Karl und Josef betätigten sich als Fuhreute.
Über den Tod von Karl Olberts ist nichts bekannt.
