Thomas WARRY

On 20 April 1662 the reversion of this latter grant was transferred to Thomas, son of Robert and Sara, who were still the tenants of the property. Thomas was described as a butcher of South Chard. Thomas married, and all we know of his wife is her given name was Joan. They had eight children and six generations later a descendant of theirs, Richard Symes Warry became Mayor of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in 1866 and today they have many descendants living in Australia. Thomas died in 1690 at West Coker.}
