Title Michel_(Klentzke)
Description

Michel Klentzke was listed in the Pomeranian  Hufenklassifikation of 1718-1719. He was a Bauer with 1 Hof at Suckow an der Ihna, Pommern which is very close to Schöneberg, Kreis Saatzig, Pommern. He is my 5th great grandfather. Private records are held to prove the line from 1765-  from his grandson, Johann David Klentzke.
A very early record for a Klaus Klentzke exists: Ehrich: Chronik der Stadt Neudamm nebst Mitteilungen aus alten Schöppen- und Grundbüchern der Dorfschaften Wittstock, Nabern, Darrmietzel, Zicher, Damm (früher Dorf) und Batzlow, Neudamm 1896.  Klentzke;Klaus;Zicher;Kossät;1584;;200;;150 Zicher, Kreis Königsberg, der Neumark , in Polish Zicher is  Cychry.
His great grandson Johann David Klentzke leaves Schöneberg, Kreis Saatzig, Pommern in 1852 and immigrates to USA. He remarries there and establishes a large family in Ahnapee, Wisconsin.
His second great grandson Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Klensky becomes a well know landscape designer in Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany then later in Romania where he designs the garden of Kendeffy Castle, Sântămăria-Orlea, County Hunedoara in Romania.
The daughter of his 3rd Great Grandson, Gerda Siegfriede Klenski immigrates to Australia in 1950.
