Dear Sir,

Your name was given to me as possible help in locating family in Mecklenburg-Schwerin.

My name is Christine Wulff. My great-grandfather was Johann ChristianCarl Krull, born February 27, 1827. He was married to Marie C. Evert (may or may not be correct maiden name). She was born August 4, 1832. They came to America in 1884 with four of their six sons. Another son came to America with his family in 1891 and brother Carl stayed in Germany.

Johann Christian Krull and Marie had been living in the Town of Barnekow, Grevesmuhlen.

  1. I am trying to find the parents of Johann Christian Krull and Marie; and

  2. I am wondering what happened to their son Carl when he stayed behind in Germany. They had nine children, three passed away. The oldest son in America was Christ, who was born July 14, 1853.

I would appreciate any help you can give me. I am at chriswulff at sbcglobal.net . Thank you so much.

Dear Christine,

we stayed 4 month in Serbia and came back last week. Today I got the new version of AOL and read your mail.

I am very interested in your family, the chance to be my family too ismore than 80 %, because my family begins about 1400 in D 23948 Hof Reppenhagen and the tree has now about 2000 lists. 2 branches I could find in the USA, your may be the third.

Johann with wife Marie and 3 sons Johann, Joachim, Wilhelm are mentioned at ancestry. Christian with wife and 5 children are mentioned 1891in the Hamburg shipping list from Barendorf, [Wilhelm, Berta, Gustav,Hein, Ida ], we have in that region 2 villages :

D 23936 and D 23942. Until now I dont know which is the right one. I always use the zip codes, so I can find via zipcodes all villages nearby.

You can find more than 5000 Krull/Kroll at Krull.tribalpages.com withthe sources and sorted by zipcode at Gedbas.

I hope to get all your dates from Germany soon, so I can see what I can find. On Nov.22 I geta new hip in the Endoklinik here in Hamburg andwill go some weeks in rehabilitation. Now the right one, the left oneIgot 14 years ago.

Last 4 month came several census villages online from Mecklenburg, I have to check now.

Dear Christine,

I just see, that Ida is the daughter of Friedrich Krull, who went to USA 1890/Baltimore with his wife Marie and daughter Louise. So I suppose the same family. Ida came from Barendorf, Friedrich from Seedorf, Isuppose D 23999. D23999 Seedorf is verified in the Census 1867.--
