Er verließ im September 1794 heimlich seine Ehefrau (Friederike Margarethe Gobrecht oo 14.1.1794) und entwich mit seiner Magd Dorothee Luise Gobrecht.
Im Oktober wurden beide aus einem Dorf an der eichfeldischen Grenze, woselbst
sie sich vermietet hatten, von ihren Vätern wieder hierher nach Offensen heim-
gebracht.
