is unknown. He was born November 1851, in Chickasaw Co, MS, and was the

son of James Harris Parker and Mary Brockman Bobo. Harvey was married on

28 Dec 1876, to Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Hood in Chickasaw County, MS. Their

children were: 1. James William Parker, b/d 1878 MS; 2. Sam Bucks Parker,

b. 14 Aug 1880 MS, d. 17 Mar1938 Dickens Co., TX; 3. Fannie Mae Parker,

b. 5 Apr 1882 MS, d. 11 Oct 1964 Lubbock Co., TX; 4. MinnieS. Parker, b.

Harvey Ebenezer 'Ebb' Parker was born in Chickasaw Co., MS (the part

which later became Calhoun Co) in 1851. He was the eight of eleven

children born toJames Harris Parker and Mary Brockman Bobo. He was the

grandson of Elijah andMary (Harris) Parker and Elisha and Lucy (Dean)

Bobo. Ebb's parents came toMS from Bedford Co., TN about 1840/1841.

Ebb's wife was Elizabeth Hood, b. April 1858 in Jefferson Co., AL. She

was the fourth child of William P. and Sabra Susannah (Davis) Hood. The

Hood family moved to Chickasaw Co., MS from ALafter the Civil War. About

1883, William and Sabra Hood and their grown children moved to Lamar Co.,

TX. Elizabeth also known as 'Kittie' and 'Lizzie' came with them. Ebb and

Lizzie Parker lived in the area of Minter, Lamar Co, TX.Lizzie died 9

September 1905. Ebb appears as head of household on the 1900 Lamar Co.,

TX census and in 1920 was living with his son Sam Bucks Parker andwife

Essie.
