Notes for this person

Supplied food to the military during the Revolutionary War.
His will was dated 22 Nov 1820 and proved 8 Jan 1827 in Oglethorpe co., GA.
He lived on the land in Orange County, VA originally purchased by Samuel

Brockman I until 1805 when he sold all but 16 acres (included the

graveyard) and the homestead (known as the "White House"). This land

was also identified as "Lewis Brock's land."

After the death of his mother he raised many of his brothers; the 1785

census shows eleven persons in his family.

Have seen his dom as 6 Dec 1790 (WFT 47:211).
He moved to GA about 1805.
