Nachruf Veron J Theyerl Vernon Vernon J. Theyerl, 87, von 807 Forest Home Drive, Francis Creek, starb am Freitag, Dece. 5, 2008, bei Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Vernon wurde am 5. Juli 1921 in Manitowoc, Sohn des verstorbenen Matthew und Rose (Root) Theyerl geboren. Er besuchte die Grundschule in der St. Boniface Catholic School und schloss sein Studium mit der Klasse von 1939 an der Lincoln High School in Manitowoc ab. Am 26. September 1942 heiratete er die ehemalige Josephine A. Junk in der St. Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Vernon diente in der US Navy während des Zweiten Weltkrieges mit den Seabees als Maschinisten Maat dritter Klasse im 36. Naval Construction Battalion vom 1. Juli 1944 bis zu seiner Entlassung am 28. Theyerl, age 87, of 807 Forest Home Drive, Francis Creek, died on Friday, Dece. 5, 2008, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Vernon was born on July 5, 1921, in Manitowoc, son of the late Matthew and Rose (Root) Theyerl. He attended attended grade school at St. Boniface Catholic School, and graduated with the class of 1939 from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. On Sept. 26, 1942, he married the former Josephine A. Junk at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Manitowoc. Vernon served in the U.S. Navy during World War II with the Seabees as a machinist mate third class in the 36th Naval Construction Battalion from July 1, 1944, until his discharge on Jan. 28, 1946. Vernon earned a star and the victory medal at Okinawa, Okinawa, Japan. He worked for 31 years for Kornely Dairy as a route delivery milkman, and later for Imperial Eastman until his retirement. retirement. He was also in the Billy Schultz Circus. Vernon enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his woodshop, hunting and fishing. Theyerl Two Rivers and his special special friend, Cristine O'-Connell, O'-Connell, O'-Connell, Wauwatosa; and Marie (Jeffrey) Jentsch, Francis Creek; seven grandchildren: Richard (Holly) Suess; Robert (Karen) Suess; Shelly (Terry) Lau; Philip Theyerl; Theyerl; Jessica (Brian) Walske; Jennifer Backus and special friend, Brad Walske; and Nichole Backus and her fiance, Chris Lund; 12 greatgrandchildren; and one sister: Alice Piekarske, Fond du Lac. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and many special special friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and brother-in-law: Pearl (Rudy) Stockinger; other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
