Chick Sr., 73, 45 Jacklin Manor, Plover, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Hospital, where he had been a patient for three weeks.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>He was a retired resort operator.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Mr. Chick was born in Stevens Point March 29, 1901, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ciecholinski. He grew up here and was married 53 years ago to Grace Wysocki.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>They operated the Island Lake Resort near Ladysmith before retiring and moving to Lake Nokomis near Tomahawk. Two and one-half years ago, they returned to this area.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Mr. Chick is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Rita) Kaskey, Appleton; a son, Leonard J. Chick, Plover; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Emma Soik, Mrs. Lillian Pavloski, Mrs. George Mattlin and Mrs. Pearl Walters, Stevens Point, and Mrs. Mayme Wagner, Milwaukee; and two brothers Lawrence, Town of Carson, and Fred, in Texas.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Mr. Chick's body has been donated for medical research to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>A memorial mass will be said Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, Plover.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Memorial contributions may be sent to Mrs. Chick for the Portage County Association for Retarded Citizens.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Source: Social Security Death Index</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Name Birth Death Last Residence Last Benefit SSN Issued </p><p>LEONARD CHICK 29 Mar 1901 Oct 1974 54467 (Plover, Portage, WI) (none specified) 392-18-0513 Wisconsin </p>
