Asik, 79, formerly of 216 Prentice St., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, at River Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services are being arranged by Krause Funeral Home, Milwaukee.</p><p> Born April 13, 1917, Junction City, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Ruka) Wayerski. After attending Junction City schools, she moved to Milwaukee, where she was married to Stanley Brzeczkowski. After he died Oct. 8, 1962, she worked for George Meyers manufacturing and Bush Shoe in Milwaukee. On Nov. 4, 1978, she was married to Henry Asik in Milwaukee. In 1991 the couple moved to Stevens Point. He died Jan. 25, 1997. A member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, she enjoyed traveling and going out to eat at country cafes.</p><p> Survivors include three daughters, Janet (Ken) Gosseck, Milwaukee; Marilyn (Larry) Lee, Milwaukee; and Cheryl (Jim) Kalupa, Milwaukee; a son, James (Camille) Breczkowski, Milwaukee; a stepson, Paul B. Asik, Oshkosh; six sisters, Lillian Brezinski, Milwaukee; Margaret (Ben) Wojtalewicz, Stevens Point; Mary Ann Wojtalewicz, Steven Point; Dolores (Ervin) Mews, Junction City; Theresa (Norbert) Strojny, Stevens Point; and Rosalie (Jerry) Rice, Stevens Point; three brothers, John, Robert (Bernadine) Wayerski, Mosinee; and James (Regina) Wayerski, Rudolph; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.</p><p> She was proceded in death by two brothers.</p><p> </p><p>Source: Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries</p><p> </p><p>Name: Adeline M.
