Services For Garwood Woman Held In Columbus Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Venghaus were held at Columbus Funeral Home Wednesday at 3 pm with burial in Odd Fellows Rest, Rev. Joe H Thompson of the Methodist church of Garwood officiating. Columbus Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Venghaus who died at Garwood Monday was born at Frelsburg on March 3, 1861, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sommerlatte. Her husband, William Venghaus, died several years ago. She had lived in Garwood for the past two years, and was a member of the Lutheran church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A. H. Maertz and Mrs. Walter Hennecke, Mentz, and Mrs. S. E. Shaultz, La Mesa, and one son, A. J. Venghaus of Garwood.
