MRS GEORGE AULTOM FELL DEAD IN YARD OF HOME

Was Hanging Up Clothes-Had Suffered From Heart Trouble

Mrs George Aultom, 40, dropped dead at 12 o’clock this afternoon while hanging clothes in the yard at her home in Fairview, off Elm Street. She had not been well for some time, death being due to heart trouble.

The deceased, nee Ethel Lynn, was married three years ago to Mr. Aultom, who survives, together with five children by a former marriage, Mary and Melvin of Fort Wayne; Lawrence of Cromwell; and Chester and Leonard who reside with their mother in this city; also four brothers, Taylor, of So. Bend; Ted of Cromwell; Myron and Martin, of Etna. Prior to her marriage Mrs. Aultom resided at Cromwell.

The body has been removed to the Luckenbill Funeral Home, but arrangements for the funeral rites have not yet been made.

AULTOM FUNERAL TO BE HELD SUNDAY AT LOCAL FUNERAL HOME

Funeral services for Mrs. George Aultom, 40, who died of a sudden heart attack Friday noon while hanging out clothes in the yard of her home in the Fairview addition, will be held at the Luckenbill’s Sons Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. S. Kahl Dustin officiating.

Burial will be made at Salem cemetery near Wilmot.

Dr. Park Huffman of South Whitley, county coroner, was called to the Aultom home upon being notified of Mrs. Aultom’s death. He pronounced her death as the result of heart trouble. (e-mail Judy G 13/2/06)
