Beverly Jane ASPINWALL

Beverly (Aspinwall) King, 75 of Vernon, formerly of Manchester, wife of the late Alfred R. King, died unexpectedly Friday, July 12, 2013 in Vernon. Beverly was born in Hartford on December 23, 1937, daughter of Clarence S. and Ruth (Palmer) Aspinwall. She was raised in Manchester, graduated from Manchester High School, and has been a resident of Vernon for the past forty-five years. Prior to retiring she was an owner and officer of the former King Brothers Construction Company and King Associates. She is survived by her daughter and three sons, Sheri Bradley and her fiancé Tim Sullivan of Tolland, Steven King and his wife Linda of Union, Thomas King and his wife Melissa of Chaplin, and David King and his wife Danielle of Coventry; her brother and sister, Clarence “Sonny” Aspinwall of Inverness, FL and Sally Kamerer of Vernon; fifteen grandchildren who were the light of her life, three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her dearest friends Roberta and Ron, Paula, Gail, and John. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17, at 10:00 AM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery in Vernon.
