Jeremiah Baker (Anna Stephens, Jedediah, Henry, Henry) was born atCanisteo, New York, April 18, 1791. He was a farmer and lived inCanisteo. Mr. Baker was a member of the Methodist Church. He marriedfirst in 1810, Eunice Powers, born April 17, 1794, who died August 8,1829. He married, second, Hila Stephens (Jedediah, Jedediah, Henry,Henry) b. April 13, 1796, who died November 22, 1871. Mr. Baker died June17, 1883, and was buried in Rural Cemetery on the Baker farm. He servedin the War of 1812, and drew a pension.
