Edson, Dorothy D. (Durner) Of Westborough, formerly of Lexington, October 24, 2014. Wife of 57 years of Theodore M. Edson. Mother of JoAnne Szymanski and her husband, Brian of Holden, Stephanie Walsh and her husband, Michael of Southborough, Theodore D. Edson and his wife, Debra of Carlsbad, CA, Dianne Iannelli and her husband, David of Franklin and the late Stephen Edward Edson. Grandmother of Conor, Stephen and Matthew Walsh, Kevin Szymanski, Stephen and Christopher Iannelli, Megan Walsh, Kaitlyn Szymanski, Madeline and Sophia Edson. Sister of Anne VanNimwegen of AZ, Gertrude Sherman of NJ and the late Edward W. Durner Jr. Sister-in-law of Antoinette Slade of NJ. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Dorothy's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday, October 28th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
