Margaret Eudora TYLER

Margaret "Midge" Tyler Staib, age 76, of Maple Ave., Bethel, died at her home on Saturday. She was the widow of Edward W. Staib Sr.

Mrs. Staib was born in Bethel June 12, 1923, a daughter of the late Eugene Carlton and Luvenia Fox Tyler. She was a lifelong Bethel resident and had been a Telephone Operator for 30 years with SNET. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Bethel and loved to cook. During the summer, she was a weekend resident of Southbury at the Pomperaug River and was a winter resident of Daytona Beach, Fla. She was also a member of the Pomperaug Social Club.

She is survived by her son, Edward W. Staib Jr. and his wife, Judy of Bethel; several grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church, Bethel, 06801 or to a charity of one's choice.

The funeral will be conducted from the Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division St., Danbury, Wednesday morning at 10:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Bethel at 11:00. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel.

The family will receive friends at the Hull Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00.
