Shirley Elaine FIKE

LANDER - At her request, no services will be held for Shirley Fuller, 76, who died March 8, 2006, at the Lander Valley Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 17, 1929, to Clair and Frances (Case) Fike in Franklin, Pa. She graduated from Oil City High School in Pennsylvania.

She was a loving mother of nine children and devoted housewife.

She married Paul Fuller in 1985 and moved to Lander in1986.

In retirement, she was a very active member of the Word of Faith Family Church.

They traveled extensively and enjoyed fishing, growing flowers in her garden and she loved to shop. She was very giving and always had homemade candy and pastries for any visitor.

Her activities were slowed in the last 10 years because of failing health.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Fuller of Lander; children, Linda Gotcher of Lander, Sandra Cotterman of Meadville, Pa., Gloria Hoover of Killeen, Texas, Michael Shields of Franklin, Pa., Diane Whitman of Cooperstown, Pa., Charles Girty of Franklin, Pa., William Girty of Cooperstown, Pa., Richard Gerty of Clarion, Pa., Tian Shara of Reno, Pa., Judy Hallam of Lander and Debbie Hudelson of Lander; siblings, Sarah Galliger, Virginia Carter, W. James Fike, W. John Fike and Jack Fike, all of Pennsylvania and Donald Fike of New York; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
