He was born on June 13, 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA. His paternal grandfather, Joseph Gaydos, maternal grandmother, Thelma Ruffing, and aunt, Janice Greer preceded him in death.

Mark is survived by his loving parents, Richard A. and Karen L. (Ruffing) Gaydos of Uniontown, PA; a brother, Kevin R. Gaydos of Pittsburgh, PA; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Gaydos of Uniontown, PA; maternal grandfather, Joseph Ruffing, Sr. of Pittsburgh, PA; uncles and aunts, John Gaydos and wife Bernadette of Uniontown, PA; Ronald Gaydos and fiance Patty Malinzak of Carmichaels, PA; Donna Fike and fiance Larry Bowlen of Uniontown, PA; Joseph Ruffing, Jr., David Greer, and Cheryl Purpura, all of Pittsburgh, PA; Nancy Lauer and husband Neil of White Lake, MI; Kathy Kruczynski and husband Bob of Columbus, OH; and many loving cousins.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, and was a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School Class of 2006. Mark was currently serving an apprenticeship with The United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Pittsburgh, PA. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, and many friends.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, August 26, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m; and on Saturday, August 27, 2011 until 9:30 a.m., when a Panachida Service will be held.

A Divine Liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father Ronald P. Larko as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parastas Service will be offered on Friday evening at 9 p.m.
