<p>&nbsp;</p><p><p>Melba Rudene Stephens Lee</p></p><p><p>1919 - 2005</p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Melba Rudene Stephens Lee, 85, a retired nurse's aide, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at a Stephenville nursing home.</p><p><p>Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial: West End Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.</p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Memorials: Charity of the donor's choice.</p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Rudene Stephens was born Dec. 25, 1919, in Erath County. She married Malcolm Jacob Lee on July 27, 1940. They farmed in Erath County for many years. They were members of thePrimitive Baptist Church.</p><p><p></p></p><p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Malcolm J. Lee Sr.; son-in-law, Jerrel Lee Harris; and grandson, Jacob Rogan.</p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Survivors: Daughters, Caroline Harris of Rising Star, Vivian Rogan and husband, Gary, of Springtown, Kayrene Ham and husband, Robin, of Sweetwater; sons, Malcolm "M.J." Lee Jr. and wife, Sandra, Royce Lee and wife, Laura, and Marchelle Lee, all of Stephenville; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.</p><p><p>Published in the Star-Telegram on 1/4/2005.</p></p><p></p>
