She married Lyle Veron Coburn on September 5, 1946 in Brushville, Minnesota in St. Joseph Church. She passed away on October 13, 1983 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ethlin stayed with Joseph and Leona Terfehr in Brushville, Minnesota after her mother died. She worked for Don McNeil in Chicago, IL. There she met Lyle Coburn. They later moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan and lived on the family farm in Pavillion Township.Toghether they had four children, James, Robert, Judy and Linda. Ethlin Georgetta McLaughlin is buried next to Lyle in Cooks Cementy in Scotts, Michigan. Died of lung cancer
