Der Taufeintrag ist nachträglich deutlich hervorgehoben und mit Randbemerkungen versehen, die auf das Sterbedatum 18.01.1835 hinweisen, darunter der Zusatz "der letzte Mönch von Elchingen".

Tatsächlich handelt es sich um den späteren Pater Julian Edelmann, Benediktiner des ehemaligen Reichstitels Elchingen bei Ulm. Bei Friedrich August Schmidt, Bernhard Friedrich Voight. Neuer Nekrolog der Deutschen. Band 2, Band 13. S. 1172f. B. F. Voigt (1837) findet sich ein zeitgenösischer Nachruf.
