As Gorrell had become interested in the resarch, so also did Wuth. Of course Rosita just loves it, so he took quite a few pictures of her and her family. He also took one of her hands, showing her ornaments, as he thought you might want it or be able to use it.... I think the enclosed picture of Rosita and Mathilda is marvelous, and no doupt you can use it." Elsie appreciated the pictures. She wrote Gorrell, "Ever so much thanks to you and to Mr. Wuth. The stunning portrait of Rosita and her baby, Mathilda, is the frontispiece of PEGUCHE, and the picture of Rosita's jeweled handsappears with the caption. "The bracelets or red beads and innumerable rings worn by women." Seite 376 Rosita Lema was thirty years old when Parsons met her in 1940. As the portrait of her with baby Mathilde ba Bodo Wuth in the front pf Parsons's book on Peguche attests, she was a striking figure, with a mobile, intelligent face, beringed fingers, and wide stiff felt hat. etc

In 1938 Ecuador commissioned two sets of postal cards printed by theGeographic Institute Agostini of Novara, Italy, from photographs by the German-Ecuadorian photographer Bodo Wuth. The first set of fifty cards is numbered and eight of them feature views of La Compañía, namely: 10 The Facade, 17 Columns, 18 The Sacristy Entry, 19 The Pulpit,23 The High Altar, 24 St. Joseph's Altar, 26 An Arch, and 48 The Side of the High Altar.
