Bill wurde am 26. Januar 1936 in Cedar Rapids Nebraska als Sohn seiner Eltern Oscar und Grace Dishman Brosi geboren. Er wuchs in Madera, Kalifornien, auf und absolvierte die Madera Union High School mit der Klasse von 1953. Bill war 35 Jahre lang LKW-Fahrer für verschiedene Transportunternehmen, darunter Quality Trucks of Fresno. Er ist seit langem in Fresno ansässig.
Dem Tod von Bill gehen seine Eltern, Brüder Kenneth, Marion und Bobby Brosi sowie die Schwestern Betty Ruby, Margie Veatch und Barbara Sage voraus.
Bill wird von zwei Söhnen überlebt, Dean Brosi aus North Bend Oregon, Darren Brosi aus Fresno, Daughters, Colleen Bringetto und ihrem Ehemann Carlo aus Albany Oregon, Kim Scott und ihrem Ehemann Curt Scott aus Fresno. Er ist der Bruder von Oscar Brosi und seiner Frau Glen Dora Brosi von Madera, Jim Brosi und seiner Frau Nina Brosi von Madera, Norma Rogers von Inyo Kern, JoAnn Aldama von Fresno, Patricia Rollins und ihrem Ehemann Don von Madera. Er ist der Großvater von 10 Enkelkindern.
Ein Gedenkgottesdienst findet am Samstag, den 1. September 2007 um 9:30 Uhr in der Jay Chapel in Madera statt.
