Notes for this person
[Bill's Nutt.FTW] [Brøderbund WFT Vol. 5, Ed. 1, Tree #2669, Date of Import: Jul 3, 1999] See "Nutt/McNutt, Descendants of David Nutt of Orange County, NC" by Robert Harris Damon (Damon Harris Nutt) and Christine Virginia Damon, published by Gateway Press, Inc., Baltimore, MD, Library of Congress Card No. 94-75935, 1994. Page 181 shows a picture of the Premier home they built at 400 North Atlantic, in Tullahoma, Tennessee. It states that he was a foreman for the NC. & St. Louis Railroad. The home is an example of Neo-Jacobean architecture and "is now the home of the J. L. Sewards." The "Tempo" of September, 1988, carries an extensive article on the Premier homes in the Atlantic Historic District along the train tracts. On page 183 is a picture of 31 members of his family, named on the following pages. Many of the 7 chidren settled in the Chatanooga, TN area.
