Dorothy M. "Maw" STILLIONS

Birth: May 12, 1918 Death: Feb. 15, 2008 LINCOLN, Ill. - Dorothy M. "Maw" Ridge, 89 years 9 months & 3 days, of Lincoln and formerly of Bloomington, died Friday, February 15, 2008, at The Christian Village in Lincoln. She was born on May 12, 1918, in Bloomington, the daughter of John William and Bertha (Vaught) Stillions. "Maw" was a homemaker, having lived in Southern Indiana for 80 plus years, where she was a longtime member of the Smithville Christian Church. She was currently a member of the Jefferson Street Christian Church and the 50 Plus Class at the church. Mrs. Ridge is survived by one daughter, Reba (David) Amerson of Lincoln; four grandchildren; Sally (Steve) Smith of Tustin CA, Patrick (Terri) Smith of Franklin IN, Craig (Brenda) Smith of Lincoln and Carolina Amerson of Madison, AL; twelve great-grandsons and six great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Ridge, who died in January of 1977. They were married in December of 1937 in Spencer, Indiana. She was also preceded by one sister, Lorene Koontz. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. (CST) today at the Jefferson St. Christian Church in Lincoln, with Mr. J.K Jones officiating. Graveside burial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington. Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington.
