He married(1),probably by 1374,Isabel de La Mare, daughter of Alice de La Mare of Delamers (inStudham),Hertfordshire (father's name not given), (2), probably by 1398,Mercy, daughter of Stephen Hayme. According to Roskell 3:651,Isabel's mother, Alice de La Mare (d. 1411), married (2), by1387,John Ludwick, of Digswell and Ludwick in Hatfield, Herts."Mr. Sutliff'smessage on this thread says he is working on theancestryof Malyn Oxenbridge, wife of Sir Richard Carew. I hope he willpost his findings here,since they will be of interest to manyof us."
