das andere Ende erreichte, brauchte man wegen der Menge Staub und Dreck

in der Luft ein sauberes Hemd. Peter war ein Puddler, was eine sehr

anstrengende Arbeit war, bei der das geschmolzene Roheisen umgerührt

werden musste, um die Verunreinigungen zu entfernen".

300 jüdische Kinder und Jugendliche untergebracht und ausgebildet worden.

Sie waren als Flüchtlinge mit den Kindertransporten aus dem Deutschen

Reich heraus- und in Nordirland in Sicherheit gebracht worden.
